DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, August 30th\, from 5–9 PM at Ridge Rock Amphitheater in Kerrville\, Texas\, for Hearts for the Hudsons\, a special night of live music\, community\, and giving back. \nThis benefit concert supports Jack and Jennifer Hudson\, beloved members of the Kerr County community and owners of Quality Patio Furniture. The Hudsons lost all of their tools\, supplies\, and equipment when their workshop was devastated in the recent flood. Jack is the skilled craftsman behind the handmade picnic tables and benches that fill The Ridge Marketplace\, the Gardens\, and the Amphitheater. \nThe evening will feature live performances by Lone Star 118\, Callie Ann Stelter\, Aaron LaCombe\, and more. DESCRIPTION:Our region has faced significant challenges recently\, and in response\, Arcadia is launching the Rise and Rebuild Concert Series—a tribute to the first responders\, volunteers\, and community members who have shown extraordinary resilience during these challenging times. Our focus is simple—we’re bringing our local community together through the healing power of music and entertainment.\n\nFrom August 1- October 31st\, we will hold a number of concerts and events dedicated to our focus. Many well known and critically acclaimed artists have stepped forward to contribute to the healing process through their art. In order to keep this series strictly for locals\, we will not reveal the performing artist’s names until one week in advance with special invitations first to those who have been impacted.\n\nConfirmed dates with more programming on the horizon\nMonday\, August 25th\nSaturday\, August 30th\nFriday\, September 12th\nWednesday October 8th\n\nWe would like to thank our Kerrville’s 4th on the River sponsors for shifting focus along with us so we could host this restorative series.\n\nWe are honored to walk hand in hand with our neighbors as we begin the healing process.

DESCRIPTION:Playhouse 2000 presents the hit musical Into the Woods\, August 22-Sept 7\, 2025\, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays\, August 31 and September 7 at 2:30 pm in the Cailloux Theater.\nWe want to make a “big splash” when The Cailloux Theater re-opens after the construction to replace the roof and Heating/Air Conditioning system. We think Stephen Sondheim and Joseph Lapine’s Into The Woods is just the show to do it!\nInto the Woods starts with a mashup of multiple stories from the world of fairy tales – Jack and The Beanstalk\, Little Red Riding Hood\, Cinderella\, Rapunzel and The Baker’s Wife\, to name a few. Then\, in Act II – after the “Happily Ever After” – it explores the very real consequences those characters might have to face. Remember\, “no one is alone.”\n\nOn Broadway\, Into the Woods was nominated for 10 Tony Awards and earned 3\, plus 5 Drama Desk Awards\, including Outstanding Book\, Lyrics\, and Musical. Revivals have won 21 Tony\, Olivier\, Drama Desk and Audience Choice Awards\, and it’s 2014 film version \, starring Meryl Streep\, Anna Kendrick\, Chris Pine\, Johnny Depp\, and more\, broke box office records.
