Kerr Calendar is a community-driven project with one simple mission:
To create a single, comprehensive source for all events happening in and around Kerrville, Texas.
Born from a need voiced by many in the aftermath of the devastating 2025 flooding, this calendar is a grassroots effort to bring people together, share information, and strengthen our local connections.
We aim to be a central hub for everything happening in our community — from city meetings and school events to fundraisers, concerts, educational workshops, sports, arts, nonprofit events, and more.
Why This Exists
When the 2025 floods disrupted life in Kerr County, one thing became very clear:
Our community needed a better way to stay connected.
People missed critical updates, events were scattered across dozens of websites and social media pages, and there was no single place to find out what’s happening in town. Kerr Calendar is our answer to that.
Community Built. Volunteer Run.
This project is:
- 💬 Run by volunteers
- 🛠️ Maintained without a budget
- 🧡 Supported by community contributions
We rely on individuals, organizations, and event hosts to help keep this calendar accurate and up to date. If you’re organizing something — please submit it. If you see something missing — let us know.
The webmaster for this site is Aaron Yates of KerrvillePhoto.com.
Want to Get Involved?
We welcome:
- 📅 Event submissions
- 🧑💻 Volunteer help (tech, data entry, outreach)
- 🤝 Ideas for partnerships
This calendar exists because our neighbors asked for it. And it grows stronger every time someone contributes.
